Glasgow's LEZ is the one genuinely easy to get caught out by, since unlike ULEZ or an English CAZ, there's no daily charge you can simply pay after the fact. A non-compliant car driven into the city centre gets a fine, full stop. Checking a specific car's Euro emissions standard before a trip in, via its MOT and tax history, is worth doing rather than risking a penalty charge notice.
