Enforced since June 2024 across the city centre. No daily charge available, a non-compliant vehicle driven in gets a penalty charge notice instead, the same escalating fine structure as Glasgow's LEZ.

Edinburgh's LEZ follows the same fine-only Scottish model as Glasgow's, so if you're coming from England expecting to pay a ULEZ-style daily charge, there isn't one, non-compliance goes straight to a penalty.
